Our daily tour customers may park in the Savannah Boathouse parking lot without charge. Any cars parked at the Savannah Boathouse overnight must display a dashboard parking pass available at the marina office for $8 per day in economy parking and $25 per day in front lot. Parking passes are color coded. Whenever possible we meet you in front parking with baggage carts to help with cargo, direct you to office for pass, and load boat while you park your car.
For Daufuskie overnight(s) passengers, your fare includes one medium-sized suitcase/bag/bin per person up to 50lbs, one personal item per person (laptop/briefcase up to 10lbs,) and one medium cooler up to 60 qt. per four passengers. We assess fees for excess cargo at the dock.
Please arrive 30-60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time to allow for the time to load luggage.
We want to make you happy, but we must keep you safe. We cannot transport you in dangerous weather such as thunderstorms or high-wind conditions. We do not run in the dark as we can not see partially submerged objects like trees in the river. If we are delayed for dangerous weather, we will resume normal operations as soon as it's safe. We do not offer refunds for weather delays.
We are a small business with just enough resources to provide you excellent service. After agreeing on a schedule and plan for your trip, any change you make to times/dates/passengers/destinations may incur a charge. Please allow sufficient time in your travel plans to arrive and depart on time. Day trippers should arrive at Savannah Boathouse at least 15 minutes early. Single boat groups should arrive at least 30 minutes early. Two boat groups should arrive at least an hour early. Airline and traffic delays are common, please plan accordingly.
Cancellation of pre-paid trip deposits more than 30 days in advance will be refunded less any service fees. Cancellation of pre-paid trip deposits between 30 days and one week prior will be refunded at 50%. Cancellation of a trip inside of one week prior is not eligible for a refund.
If we accept payment from you and are unable to perform due to maintenance or staffing problems, we will do everything we can to get you where you want to be on time, to include using another provider. If we can't do this and it's our fault, we will refund your money.
For payment we accept cash, Zelle and Venmo (between friends) with no fees. We pass on any fees to you such as Square, Cash App, Venmo "goods and services" fee. Square charges $3 per hundred for swipes/taps and $4 per hundred over the phone/manual entry. Tips are not required but greatly appreciated.
